We are seeking to employ a suitably qualified and experienced Social Worker or Psychologist to join our Community Health Counselling team in Wyndham. This is a part-time, ongoing position, working 45.6 hours/fortnight (0.6FTE).
We are looking for someone who has excellent counselling and casework skills, who has experience in a range of settings, and who is flexible, enthusiastic and enjoys working in a team environment. You will need previous experience working within a multi-disciplinary team, preferably in a community-based setting.
Community Health Counsellors provide services to young people and adults, with a wide range of presenting issues. Priority areas include young people and their families, people with mild to moderate mental health problems, and people with chronic health conditions. The counselling model includes single session work, episodic counselling, case work and group work. All counsellors contribute to development of the program and meeting accreditation standards.
Remuneration as per either Psychologist or SACS Award, according to qualifications and relevant experience. Clinical supervision is provided.
